Why sheets suit dorm life
- Nothing to carry but a few sheets in your pocket on the way to the laundry room.
- No spills in a backpack, a laundry bag or a shared closet.
- No measuring cap, so no guessing in a machine you do not know.
- Works in front-load, top-load, HE and non-HE washers, including card and coin machines.
- Dissolves in cold water, so you can wash cold without a residue problem.
How many loads does a school year need?
At two loads a week through a 32-week school year, a student runs about 64 loads. Spot's smallest bundle has 120 loads for $19.99 — enough for nearly two school years, or one year split with a roommate. Half a sheet handles a small load, so it stretches further if you wash little and often.
| Bundle | Loads | Price | Per load |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 packs | 120 | $19.99 | 16.7¢ |
| 3 packs | 180 | $28.99 | 16.1¢ |
| 4 packs | 240 | $37.99 | 15.8¢ |
Shared laundry room tips
- Put the sheet straight in the drum with your clothes, not in the dispenser drawer.
- Do not overstuff a shared machine. Water needs room to reach the sheet and the clothes.
- Use two sheets for gym kit or anything heavily soiled.
- Set a phone timer so your clothes are not left in the machine.
